FLW Southeast’s Engineering Services group supplies a variety of value-added services
to our clients. Our engineers work closely with our customer service, inside sales,
& outside sales personnel to ensure products specified for customers will meet
the needs our clients. In addition to offering pre-sales engineering assistance
and onsite application reviews, FLW Southeast’s Engineering Services group also
assists clients with the implementation of trial systems of instrumentation &
control systems. After a purchase is made, our Engineering Services group will work
with our clients to make sure the products perform as needed.
Additionally, the Engineering Services group also performs manufacturing, systems
integration, & product design services for many of our clients. FLW Southeast
can supply panel design and fabrication services, as well as cable assemblies for
many of our instrumentation products. FLW Southeast also offers its clients control
system design & engineering capabilities, including HMI panel implementation,
PLC & DCS programming, and SCADA system design & integration services. FLW
Southeast has also designed & manufactured a variety of custom control systems
for its clients, including a custom designed OEM bagging control system and a custom
designed weighing system.
Preserving Your Automation Investment
FLW Southeast also assists clients with preserving the long-term investment they
have in their automation systems. We understand the challenges that companies face
when their current automation vendor chooses to simply obsolete legacy control systems
– high cost, high risk, and lengthy process downtime. Because we understand these
issues, FLW Southeast has chosen to partner with automation vendors who not only
offer seamless migration paths for their own legacy systems, but also offer migration
alternatives to competitors’ legacy platforms, preserving engineering development,
hardware, and field wiring investments. In many cases, we can upgrade a competitor’s
legacy system to a state-of-the-art automation platform at a fraction of the cost
