 Wireless Gas Detectors
Our WaveNet Wireless Gas Detection Product Line offers SenSmart 7000 Single/Dual Sensor Monitors, WaveLink Receivers in a variety of enclosure styles, WaveNet Relayers for activating alarm events and Alarm Bars for annunciating alarms.
The WaveNet Wireless Monitoring System family has 3 wireless products plus the SST diagnostics tool for site surveys and trouble shooting. Each WaveNet FHSS network may have as many as 32 battery-powered SenSmart 7000 Monitors, any number of WaveNet Relayers (WNRs) but requires at least one 32 channel WaveLink Receiver (WLR). A single WLR Multifunction Option board adds data logging, a second wired / wireless Modbus port, Ethernet port for Modbus TCP plus a Wi-Fi access point with web-server. The Wi-Fi feature is especially exciting since it allows remote HMI functionality via any web enabled device. This means our WaveLink Receiver allows responders to view real time and historical data on smart phones and tablet devices prior to entering a hazardous area.
 Wireless Controllers
RC Systems controllers, including the ST-71, ST-72, ST-90 and Rig Protector, communicate wirelessly with Modbus equipped devices simply by adding our NRTL certified RS-485 radios options. RS-485 Modbus is converted to Wireless Modbus using our popular FHSS 900 MHz or 2.4 GHz Client/Server networks. It is also possible to interface our RC Systems controllers to our own SenSmart 7000 Monitors or other 3rd party Modbus compatible equipment by simply connecting our RS-485 radio modems to the 3rd party Modbus device.
 WaveNet Relayer
The WaveNet Relayer (WNR) receives Alarm Status data from wireless WCM sensors for activating up to five configurable 5 amp SPDT relays. Relays may be configured to activate based upon 3 distinct alarm levels, Comm Error/Fault and Low Battery conditions. Add our Quick Connector option and cabling to make it easy to wire Relayers to 2/4 Alarm Bar light stack annunciators!
 WaveBridge Modem/Repeater
The RC Systems WaveBridge converts RS-485 data to 900MHz or 2.4 GHz FHSS Client/Server wireless networks. Hop and Destination address settings allow many different networks within the same installation. WaveBridge modems are useful if the RS-485 device is a long distance from a desirable antenna location. For example, RC Systems’ ST-35, ST-71, ST-72 and ST-90 Controller products are available with wireless interfaces but these require the controller be close to the antenna due to losses in long coax cables. The WaveBridge also repeats RF signals for long distances.
