Kistler’s LabAmp is Now Integrated in the KiDAQ Data Acquisition System Environment

February 2021, MARIETTA, GA ~ Kistler unveils a new advance that will make it far easier for users to set up the entire measuring chain and even operate it in the cloud. The two laboratory charge amplifiers in our portfolio – LabAmp 5167A and 5165A – can now be integrated into the KiDAQ environment. The LabAmps offer multiple benefits: high signal quality, exceptional flexibility, state-of-the-art operability and excellent connectivity combined with low noise, a broad measuring range and wide-ranging filter options.

KiDAQ, the measurement ecosystem, offers a complete measuring chain from one single source – from sensor to cloud – for over 20 measurands. Now that the LabAmps can be integrated into this environment, users will cope comfortably with complex measurement tasks involving output from multiple measuring instruments such as multi-component sensors, dynamometers, and accelerometers.

Both LabAmps can now be operated with KiStudio Lab, the comprehensive DAQ software from Kistler: tab navigation in the new version 4.0 enables users to keep track of the overall picture even when large numbers of measuring systems and channels are connected. Also included: the jBEAM post-processing software with its wide-ranging analysis and visualization functions.
