Discover the Benefits for Yourself with Kistler’s maXYmos XY-Monitoring

February 2015, MARIETTA, GA – The maXYmos family offers high-end and basic level in-process monitoring for any “good-bad evaluation” along XY-curves, as they appear during force-displacement measurements in production and assembly or during product testing. Kistler’s maXYmos product family provides clear insight into manufacturing processes along with accompanying evaluation. In conjunction with continuous monitoring, the result is 100 % product quality in assembly and product testing.

Advantages for You

  • Continuous monitoring of the assembly or test process

  • Very early detection of rejects

  • Minimization of QA expenditure

  • Economization of test routines

  • Guaranteed 100 % quality for subsequent processes

Single-channel XY monitor for force, pressure and torque sensors in assembly and product testing
Standard monitor for good/bad evaluation of XY curves such as force vs. displacement or torque vs. rotation angle. Such characteristic XY curves arise in assembly during joining, engaging, snap fitting, swiveling and twisting processes or during product testing of springs and switches, for example. The basic level maXYmos BL is optimized for mounting in a front panel. An optional additional case allows mounting on a vertical panel of a machine or on a flat surface and continuous tilt adjustment. The operator can set the required viewing angle with the knobs of the adjusting screws on either side.

Multi-channel XY monitor for more complex measuring tasks in assembly and product testing
High-end monitor for good/bad evaluation of XY curves. The maXYmos TL provides additional very powerful evaluation objects beyond those provided by the maXYmos BL. This allows implementation of more demanding types of curve evaluation. The flexible case concept of the maXYmos TL gives the machine designer plenty of options. Desktop or wall mounting can be chosen by simply changing the position of the mounting bracket on the display module. The desktop version can be changed to the wall version with a minimum of manipulation. You can also separate the measuring and evaluation module (MEM) from the display module (DIM) and arrange it at a remote position, e. g. in the switch cabinet.
