Siemens Releases New FCT070 Flow Module for Direct Integration of Siemens Coriolis Flow Tubes to Siemens Control Systems

November 2020, MARIETTA, GA ~ Siemens Process Instrumentation is pleased to announce the addition of a new Coriolis transmitter, the SITRANS FCT070, which provides Siemens Coriolis mass flow meters with the ability to directly connect to the newest SIMATIC compact distributed I/O system, the ET 200SP.

The FCT070 replaces the SIFLOW FC070. The new transmitter can be easily integrated into ET 200SP systems and can be connected to SIMATIC S7 controller types S7-300, -400, -1200 and -1500.

Faceplates and drivers for the TIA Portal, SIMATIC PCS 7 and STEP 7 are available free of charge for the FCT070. The sensor's Digital Sensor Link (DSL) enables safe and trouble-free data transmission over long distances in real time between the sensor and the transmitter.
