Kistler Instruments Releases New High Temperature Accelerometer Sensor

January 2018, MARIETTA, GA ~
The 8205B high temperature accelerometer portfolio is differential, internally case isolated and allows operating temperatures up to 260°C. This makes it well positioned for monitoring gas turbines and general rotor dynamics applications and compliments the thermoacoustic pressure sensors. All 8205B accels are available in non-Ex and in Ex certified versions (ExnA and Exia). Accelerometer type 8205B is fully compatible with the existing differential charge amplifiers (5181/83/85) currently being used with the thermoacoustic pressure sensors.

Key Features

  • Integrated cable solutions: without cable protection, with steel over braid, with spiral metal hose, hermetic corrugated metal hose

  • Designed for monitoring applications (bearing monitoring)

  • Differential signal output, ground isolated

  • Robust sensor design for highest reliability and maximum lifespan

  • Highest immunity against electromagnetic interference

  • Matched ex certified component for existing diff. charge amplifiers types 5181/83/85 (entity parameters, Exia measuring chains)
