Hi-Techniques Echelon - eDAQ Synchronization

March 2018, MARIETTA, GA ~

Hi-Technques announced the ability to synchronize an Echelon with a SoMat eDAQ. The SoMat eDAQ has been the DAQ of choice for rugged field applications for many years. HBM the parent corporation of SoMat is starting to announce "end of life" for several of the eDAQ components. Customers with a sizable investment in eDAQ's are concerned with their investments and looking for a future replacement. HBM's solution is to start substituting their Quantum XR components to replace the parts that can no longer be supported. There have been many questions about the compatibility of these XR alternatives as well as the new software required.

Echelon offers a much more viable alternative. Hi-Technques has developed a method to synchronize the eDAQ with an Echelon. This allows customers the ability to capitalize on their eDAQ investment made over the last 25 years while taking advantage of the added capabilities of the state-of-the-art Hi-Techniques Echelon Data Acquisition System. Easily synchronize the eDAQ and Echelon through use of an interconnect cable and capture data simultaneously with a single keystroke. Data can be saved to a single time synchronous file. The combined data can be viewed and analyzed in Aspire software and can be export to many popular formats including S3T and SIF.

This solution is being widely accepted by some of the largest past eDAQ users. They can continue to use their eDAQ's (with the original software) while transitioning to the state-of-the-art Echelon.
