Ascott's Premium salt spray chamber S…iP are available in 6 sizes, 120L, 450L, 1000L, 1300L, 2000L & 2600L.



Premium models can perform the same basic salt spray tests, but in addition are equipped with extra features which enable them to undertake ‘modified’ tests such as those defined in ASTM G85.

Here conventional salt spray is often combined with one other climate, in a two-part cycle, to accelerate the test. For example: salt spray and condensation humidity (SWAAT) or salt spray and drying (PROHESION) or salt spray and SO2 testing. (ASTM G85 A4)

Need A Higher Temperature Range?

The ACC141, S…IP Temperature Upgrade Kit is suitable for all S_iP models of 450L and above.

The kit uses additional heater mats to increase the temperatures in the following modes:



• Salt spray mode temperature increase from 50°C to 60°C (122°F to 140°F)
• Temperature only mode increase from 50°C to 60°C (122°F to 140°F)
• Wetting mode temperature increase from 50°C to 60°C (122°F to 140°F)
• Drying mode temperature increase from 50°C to 60°C (122°F to 140°F)
